Since everyone will have to wait until March of next year to get their hands on the next chapter in the zombie-massacring behemoth known as Resident Evil, we are desperate to learn and see everything we can about RE5. After watching the Resident Evil 5 trailer shown at Leipzig in slow-mo we've spotted several new beasties everyone will (probably) be fighting once the game is unleashed. Here are 5 crazy-looking new Resident Evil 5 enemies who we've assigned names to.
#5: Living Statue: Sure, when corpses come back to life it's freaky, but when its a statue that becomes alive it's 10X worse. Human bones are no match for concrete.
#4: Three-Headed Dog: While we're not sure exactly what this four-legged beast really is, it appears to be either a canine with three heads or a dog with a bad case of Las Plagas. Either way, we'd hate to have this thing slobbering on our lower legs.
#3: Beaked-Man: This mysterious hooded character has just barely been shown in Resident Evil 5. But by the looks of his beak and generally sinister appearance, we're gonna venture a guess and say he's a villain.
#2: Leach Monstrosity: So far in the Resident Evil series, there's been a Leach Man, Leach Zombies, the Giant Leach, and of course plain old leaches, but this massive cluster of wigglies (what we're assuming are leaches or leach-like creatures) takes it too a whole other level of nastiness.
#1:The Executioner:If you thought the chainsaw-wielding maniac of Resident Evil 4 was scary, get a load of this hulking executioner and his gi-normous axe. You could behead an elephant with that thing!
In addition to the five insane looking new creatures to look forward to killing in Resident Evil 5, there's also the new sack-headed fiend armed with a chainsaw that many of us have seen in screenshots and videos for the game. Check him out below.
